DIABETIC COOKIES 
2/3 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. sweet 10 (or any liquid sweetener)
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. dates
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla

In saucepan, mix water, butter, sweetener, raisins, and dates. Boil for 3 minutes. Cool. Sift together flour, soda, and bakign powder; add eggs and vanilla. Mix together with saucepan mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
