BUBBLE AND SQUEAK 
8 oz. cold mashed potatoes
8 oz. cooked cold cabbage
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vinegar

In a large mixing bowl, mix the potatoes and cabbage together. Season with the salt and pepper.

In a large, deep, frying pan, melt the butter over moderately high heat. Add the potato and cabbage mixture. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes, or until the potato-cabbage mixture is thoroughly hot, stirring frequently.

Sprinkle the vinegar on top of the mixture. Remove the pan from the heat and turn into a warmed serving dish. Serve at once.
