BATTER BREAD 
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. or 1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. powdered milk
5 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. rolled oats

Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water. Add eggs and melted butter. Sift dry ingredients together. Add oats (save 1 tablespoon for top); add slowly to sugar mixture. Spread batter in a well greased 9x13x2 inch pan. Brush top with melted butter. Sprinkle with the 1 tablespoon rolled oats. Let rise until double in height, about 45 minutes. Bake at 350-375 degrees about 20 minutes.
