BUBBLE AND SQUEAK 
Boiled potatoes
Cooked greens (cabbage, broccoli, sprouts, etc.)
Fat (cooking oil)

Mash the potatoes; mix with the greens and form into flat cakes about 1 inch thick. Fry in just a little fat until brown. Turn, brown the other side. Serve by itself, with cold meat leftovers, bacon, sausage, eggs or whatever.
