WHOLE WHEAT YEAST DOUGH | |
4 c. whole wheat flour 1 1/2 c. warm water 1 tsp. honey 1 tbsp. baking yeast 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. oil Mix honey with warm water. Dissolve yeast in the water. Wait 5 minutes. Add flour, salt and oil and 1 cup of flour. Beat 100 strokes or with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Let rest 10 minutes. Stir in remaining flour. Turn out on floured surface. Knead 5 minutes. Let rise for 1 hour or overnight. Makes enough for 2 large pizzas. 4 small pizzas or 6 calazone. |
