1 chocolate cake mix without pudding
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. whole peanuts

Melt together: 1/2 c. butter 1 tbsp. milk

1. Mix cake as directed.

2. Pour 1/2 cake batter into 9x12 pan and bake 15-20 minutes until cake is done.

3. Remove and pour chocolate chips, nuts and caramels mixture over cake.

4. Top with remaining cake batter and bake 20 minutes.

5. Top off with ice cream and Cool Whip.
