SNICKER BAR CAKE 
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 stick butter
3/4 c. chocolate chips
1/3 c. milk
1 c. pecans, chopped

Prepare cake mix according to directions on the box. Pour half of this mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees for the crust. Meanwhile, melt caramels with butter and milk. Pour over baked crust and sprinkle with chips and nuts. Spread remaining batter over the top. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees, then for 10 minutes at 325 degrees.
