DARK BUNS 
2/3 c. shortening
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. boiling water
2 c. dark flour
1/2 c. molasses
1 egg
2 pkg. yeast
1 c. water
6 c. white flour

Pour boiling water over salt, shortening and sugar. Stir and cool. Add dark flour, molasses and egg. Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Mix together. Add approximately 6 cups white flour. Let rise and shape into buns. Bake at 400 degrees.
