1 1/2 c. butter
3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
8 c. plain flour

Mix. Roll and cut with cookie cutter or cut in squares with a knife. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
