SCALLOPED TOMATOES | |
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes 1 c. dry hard bread crumbs 1 tbsp. minced onion 1/4 c. butter, melted 1 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tbsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 slices bread, buttered Combine tomatoes, dry bread crumbs and onions. To melted butter add flour, seasonings and dry mustard; combine with tomato mixture. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Cut buttered bread into cubes. Sprinkle over tomatoes. Bake in 400 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Good reheated. |
