1 pkg. ready to use sugar cookie dough

Various Cookie Decorations:
Cinnamon red hots
Sprinkles
Gumdrops
M & M's

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Roll out cookie dough to 1/4 inch thickness on counter lightly covered with flour. Trace child's hand on heavy paper, cut out to use as cookie pattern. Lay hand patter on the dough. Cut around the pattern with a dull knife and transfer to an ungreased baking sheet. Press decorations lightly on dough to make it look like a decorated hand.
