CANNED BAKED BEANS | |
2 (1 lb.) cans pork and beans (4 c.) 3/4 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. dry mustard 6 slices bacon and catsup (or tiny Polish sausages) Empty 1 can of beans into 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Combine brown sugar and mustard. Sprinkle half the mixture over the beans. Top with second can of beans; sprinkle with remaining brown sugar. Top with raw bacon cut into 1-inch squares. Sprinkle catsup over all. Cook covered over slow coals about 1 hour, at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or microwave 15 minutes (loosely covered) for 15 minutes. Cook control 75. |
