POTATO CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. crushed potato chips
1 c. nuts (optional)

Cream shortening, blend in sugars, and beaten eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add to mix. Add remaining ingredients and drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
