BREAD PUDDING 
9 slices bread, fresh, stale or toasted
3 c. hot milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
2 tbsp. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. raisins

Crumble bread into small pieces in a large bowl. Add hot milk, butter, eggs, sugar, salt, and raisins. Mix well. Add vanilla and nuts. Turn into buttered baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until fir.
