1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch (heaped slightly)
2 tbsp. white Karo syrup
1 c. water

Cook until clear, add 2 tablespoons strawberry Jello and red food coloring. Cool slightly and add 3 cups strawberries. Pour into baked pie shell. Serve with whipped cream.
