PEAR PECAN SALAD 
1 can (1 lb. 13 oz.) pear halves
1 pkg. (3 oz.) lemon flavored gelatin
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Drain juice from pears and reserve 1 cup of liquid. Bring the juice to a boil on high heat. Remove from heat and add lemon flavored pears and cream cheese in blender container and blend until of creamy consistency. Stir in gelatin mixture. Add pecans. Whip cream and fold into mixture. Pour into a large mold. Chill. Serve on lettuce.
