CHOCOLATE SYRUP CAKE (VERY RICH) 
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
1 lg. can chocolate syrup
4 eggs

FROSTING:

1 lb. powdered sugar, sifted
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. boiling water
1/3 c. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix cake ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

Frosting: Combine sugar, cocoa and salt. Then add water and butter. Mix. Then add vanilla. Let stand a few minutes to thicken. This makes a lot of frosting. Definitely satisfies a chocolate craving!
