BISHOPS BREAD 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 beaten eggs

Mix flour, sugar, salt and Crisco (as you would for pie crust). Take out 1/2 cup of this mixture, then add baking powder, soda, cinnamon, eggs and milk to remainder. Beat until smooth. Pour into a shallow pan (jelly roll pan). Scatter the 1/2 cup of crumbs on top. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon. Bake at 425 degrees for approximately 15 minutes.
