BISHOPS BREAD 
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. whole maraschino cherries, drained
1 c. whole pitted dates
1 bar German sweet chocolate, broken in lg. pieces
1 c. whole nut meats

Beat sugar and eggs until thick. Mix together remaining ingredients and add to egg mixture with 1/2 teaspoon vanilla; mix well. Pour into one large bread pan, COVER WITH FOIL. Bake at 325 degrees about 1 hour.
