CHINESE SWEET 'N SOUR PORK 
1 lb. pork loin, cut in strips
2 tsp. salt
2/3 pt. corn oil
1 egg
1/2 c. flour

SAUCE:

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. catsup
1 med. can pineapple chunks
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water

Mix first 5 ingredients into batter. Drop pork pieces into batter and fry in hot oil. For sweet and sour sauce: combine sugar, vinegar, catsup, soy sauce, cornstarch and water. Cook until thick. Add one can pineapple chunks and pour over pork. Good served over rice.
