CHRISTMAS PICKLES 
2 qt. dill pickles

Cut pickles into thick chunks. (Cheapest brand works.) Put in gallon jar.

1 1/4 c. sugar
1 med. onion, chopped fine
3 tbsp. vinegar
3 tbsp. horseradish
1 tsp. celery seed

Refrigerate 3 to 4 days and shake every day. You can make these all year round.
