1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk 1 can condensed milk 1 can water (use condensed milk can) 5 med. eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. cinnamon 3/4 c. granulated sugar Mix all ingredients except sugar in a food processor or blender. Put the sugar in medium baking pan. Set top range at medium high. Place baking pan in range and using a wooden spoon stir the sugar constantly until sugar melts and changes to caramel color. Put aside. Using a colander, pour mixture on baking pan. Prepare another pan, bigger than the one with the mixture with water. Arrange them like a double boiler. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Let it cool completely. Turn as a cake. Serves 8-10 portions. |
