FLAN 
1 can condensed milk
2 tbsp. sugar
1 can evaporated milk or fresh milk
8 egg yolks or 5 whole eggs
1 tsp. vanilla or lemon rind

Caramelized Sugar: 1/2 cup sugar or 1/2 cup Karo syrup.

1) Prepare caramel syrup first in 1 quart mold. Melt 1 cup sugar in mold until golden brown. You may substitute Karo syrup (maple or plain) as a substitute.

2) Beat egg yolks, condensed milk, milk, vanilla and lemon rind in a blender for 1-2 minutes. Pour into 1 quart mold lined with caramel syrup (#1).
