FILBERT FRUIT COOKIES | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1/4 c. sour cream 3/4 c. candied cherries, cut in half 1/2 c. candied pineapple, cut up 3/4 c. dates, cut up 3/4 c. broken pecans 1 1/2 lbs. whole filberts 1 3/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda Dredge fruit in 1/4 cup of the flour. Cream butter and sugar. Add 1 egg and sour cream; mix well. Add fruit and nuts. Stir until well mixed. Drop by spoonful. Bake at 325 degrees until brown, 15 to 20 minutes. |
