BEAN SOUP 
1 lb. navy beans
2 stalks celery
3 carrots grated
2 lg. onions
6 peppercorns
4 bay leaves
2 smoked pork hocks
1 - 1 1/2 lb. cubed ham
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 clove garlic

Soak beans overnight; drain. Add 15 cups water to large kettle. Add pork hocks. Add beans, simmer for 1 hour. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 2 to 3 remaining hours. Delicious.
