CHESTNUTS IN A BLANKET 
2 cans whole water chestnuts
1 bottle soy sauce
1 lb. bacon
1/2 c. sugar (white)

Marinate chestnuts in soy sauce overnight. Cut bacon strips in thirds, wrap around chestnuts, secure with a toothpick. Then shake in a bag with sugar. Bake in 375 degree oven until bacon is done.
