TROPICAL APPLE CRISP 
In 9x9x2 inch pan, combine 8 cups peeled, cored and sliced sweet apples, 1 cup chopped dried apricots, 2/3 cup sweetened flaked coconut, 2 teaspoons allspice, 1/8 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 cup sugar.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. old-fashioned or quick cooking oats
2 tbsp. sugar

Combine dry ingredients. Use a pastry blender to cut in butter evenly until mixture is the size of peas. Sprinkle evenly over apple. Bake at 375 degrees until apples are tender, about 30 minutes. Serve warm or cover and chill.
