HAM AND NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
3 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. cream 1 tbsp. horseradish 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated 1 c. cooked peas 2 c. cooked ham, diced 1 1/2 c. cooked noodles 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs Melt 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan. Blend flour into butter to form a paste. Add cream, stirring constantly until smooth. Sauce will be thick. Add cheese; stir sauce until cheese melts. Add horseradish, peas, ham, and noodles. Stir until well blended. Pour mixture into greased 1 quart casserole. Top with bread crumbs; dot with 1 tablespoon butter. Bake in 350 degree oven 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serves 4. |
