SEVEN LAYER SALAD 
Lettuce, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 c. onion, chopped sm.
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Bacon bits

DRESSING:

1 c. mayonnaise
1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. seasoned salt

In pan, layer vegetables in order given. Mix mayonnaise with seasonings and spread over vegetables. Top with shredded cheese. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Sprinkle with bacon bits just before serving.
