4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. hot water

Beat eggs until thick and light lemon color. Add sugar and beat some more. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well and add 1 cup hot water. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes. Ice with your favorite icing.
