SNOW-CAPPED CHOCOLATE PIE | |
3 egg whites 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 4 oz. baking chocolate, grated 1 c. graham cracker crumbs 1/2 c. nuts 1 c. whipping cream 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Beat egg whites with vanilla until soft peaks. Add sugar and baking powder, beating until stiff. Reserve 2 tablespoons chocolate. Fold in rest with crumbs and nuts. Spread in greased 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool. Whip cream with sugar, vanilla. Spread over pie. Sprinkle with reserved chocolate. Chill 6-8 hours. |
