RELISH APRICOTS | |
1 can (1 lb. 14 oz.) whole apricots 4 whole cloves 4 whole allspice 8 (1 inch) pieces stick cinnamon Drain apricots. To syrup add cloves and allspice. Boil 3 minutes. Stick a piece of cinnamon stick into each apricot. Place into a bowl and pour hot syrup over. Cool. Let stand about 2 days for flavor to develop. Drain before serving. Very good with pork or chicken. |
