QUICK CHICKEN SKILLET DINNER | |
1 lb. chicken, cubed 1 lg. can sliced mushrooms 2 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. chili powder 1 (32 oz.) bag of frozen vegetable mix 2 tbsp. olive oil 1/2 c. water Heat olive oil in skillet, stir in chicken that has been deboned, skinned, and cubed. Saute in oil until golden brown. Add mushrooms, pepper, garlic powder and chili powder. Saute 5 minutes more. Pour in water and the contents of the frozen vegetable mix. Cover and reduce heat. Let simmer for 10 minutes or vegetables are tender. Serve over cooked rice or pasta. |
