CHILLED CREAMY TOMATO SOUP 
1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice, chilled
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil
1 1/2 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. chives or green onions, chopped

Mix all ingredients except chives. Blend with blender or beater. Sprinkle with chives.

Nice in summer served with a slice of nut bread.

Serves 6 - 8.
