OLD FASHIONED CREAMY RICE
PUDDING
 
1 c. rice
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 gallon milk
Pinch of salt

Cook for 1 hour slowly. Test rice for softness and cook 15 minutes longer if rice is not done. It should be as thick as chocolate pudding. 1/2 pt. heavy cream 1 tsp. vanilla

Combine these ingredients and add to rice mixture. Blend for a few minutes. Put in bowl to cool. DO NOT DOUBLE RECIPE.
