FAMOUS CANDY BARS 
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. light syrup
6 c. cornflakes
1 c. salted peanuts
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. salted peanuts
Chocolate bark

In a large bowl, mix cornflakes and peanuts. In a saucepan, mix sugars and syrup. Bring to boil over low heat and boil 1 minute. Add peanut butter and mix well. Press into greased 9 x 13 pan. Melt chocolate bark and spread on top. Cool. Cut into squares. Refrigerate. (It takes more time but these can be made into balls and dipped in the chocolate.)
