PARMESAN VEGETABLE TOSS 
3-4 c. broccoli ends
3-4 c. cauliflower
1 lg. red onion, sliced thin and separated into rings
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. basil
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. sour cream
1 head Romaine lettuce
1 lg. head lettuce
8 oz. sliced water chestnuts
2 c. seasoned croutons
1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled

Combine broccoli, cauliflower, onion in large bowl. Combine cheese, sugar, salt, basil, mayonnaise, and sour cream in small bowl and mix.

Pour mixture over broccoli vegetable combination. Chill for several hours. Just before serving, add bacon, croutons, lettuces, and water chestnuts. Toss lightly. Serves 8-10.
