TUNA BAKE | |
4 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. milk 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/4 c. sour cream 1 1/2 c. LaChoy chop suey vegetables, rinsed and drained 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna fish, drained and flaked 1 c. crushed chow mein noodles Melt 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan. Add green peppers, chopped, and cook 2 minutes. Blend in flour, salt, and pepper. Gradually add milk and cook, stirring until slightly thickened. Blend together egg and sour cream, stirring into sauce. Add vegetables and tuna. Turn into 1 quart baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add noodles and stir until heated. Sprinkle on top of tuna; bake before serving. |
