SWEDISH KRINGLER 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. water
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Mix first 3 ingredients like pie crust. Divide into 2 parts and flatten on ungreased cookie sheet to make 2 strips, 3" wide and the length of the cookie sheet; set aside.

In large saucepan, bring the 1 cup water and 1/2 cup butter to a boil. Remove from heat and add the 1 cup flour and stir until smooth. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each. Stir in extract. Spread on top of 2 crust strips. bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees and 20 to 30 minutes at 400 degrees.

Make frosting of 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, 1/2 teaspoon almond extract and enough milk for spreading consistency. Frost strips and cut into strips to serve.
