APPLE PIE CRUNCH TOP 
Sliced apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
Dash of nutmeg
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter

Line pie pan with pastry. Fill with sliced apples to which you add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and nutmeg. Instead of a top crust cover apples with 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons butter. Cook in slow oven. Serve cold and with whipped cream.
