STUFFED MUSHROOMS | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms 1 c. Italian bread crumbs 2 tbsp. butter 1/4 c. olive oil 2 chopped garlic cloves 1/4 tsp. black pepper 2 tbsp. chopped onion Clean mushrooms. Remove stems and a little of centers leaving mushroom in tact. Chop stems and center pieces. Save for filling. Heat butter and oil in frying pan. Add garlic and onion. Saute 2 minutes. Add bread crumbs, chopped mushrooms, and pepper. Saute until lightly browned. Press mixture into mushroom centers. Place on foil lined cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 10-15 minutes until centers are heated through. |
