DUTCH STYLE ONION SQUARES 
2 1/2 c. peeled sliced onions (5 or 6)
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 c. tea biscuit mix
1 egg
1 3/4 c. milk
Pinch of nutmeg

Fry onions slowly in butter until soft and clear. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Combine biscuit mix and 3/4 cup of milk lightly with a fork. Spread in well greased 8 inch square pan. Cover with onions.
