“ANISE CANDY” IS IN:

ANISE CANDY 
2 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup (Karo)
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp. food coloring
1 1/2 tsp. anise flavoring

Boil sugar, syrup and water to hard crack stage (300-310°F on candy thermometer).

Add food coloring and flavoring. Pour into 8-inch square pan.

Cooks Note: Use of a candy thermometer is recommended.
