ALMOND/ORANGE SALAD 
Romaine lettuce
1/2 c. celery
2 green onions
2 tbsp. vinegar
4 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Dash of almond extract
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1 can mandarin oranges

Brown almonds in butter. Cut up lettuce, celery, and onions; place in a salad bowl. Make dressing with vinegar, oil, sugar, salt, pepper, and almond extract. Toss dressing on salad. Add almonds and oranges; toss again.
