3/4 c. peanut butter
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. plain flour
3 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt

Cream together peanut butter, sugar and shortening. Add vanilla and eggs (one at a time), beating well. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Add milk to cream mixture. Pour into greased cake pan. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

ICING:

1 box powdered sugar
Pinch of salt
2 tsp. peanut butter

Mix together adding milk as needed.
