LO-CAL FLAKY BISCUITS | |
2 c. sifted flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. oil 2/3 c. skim milk Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together into a mixing bowl. Pour oil and milk into one measuring cup but do not stir. Add all at once to flour mixture. Stir quickly with a fork until dough clings together. Knead the dough lightly about 10 times. Place the dough on a piece of waxed paper 12 x 16 inches. Pat dough out to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut with unfloured medium-sized cookie cutter. Place biscuit on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. Yield 12 2-inch biscuits. Approximately cal/serv.: 115. |
