3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
Nuts (optional)
Chocolate chips (optional)

Cream sugars and Crisco (or butter). Add eggs and vanilla; beat. Add dry ingredients and water. Drop by teaspoonful on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Let cookies set on baking sheet another 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack.

Note: Any additional ingredients may be added to this recipe.
