SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1 pt. oysters
2 c. cracker crumbs (med., coarse)
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
3/4 c. light cream
1/4 c. oyster liquid
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Drain oysters saving 1/4 cup liquid. Combine crumbs, butter, salt and pepper. Spread 1/3 of the buttered crumbs in a greased Pyrex 8 x 1 1/4 inch dish. Cover with 1/2 the oysters.

Using another 1/3 of the crumbs, spread a second layer; cover with remaining oysters. Combine cream, oyster liquid and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over oysters. Top with rest of crumbs. Bake in moderate 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. Makes 4 servings. Serve warm.
