2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sour cream

Set oven at 350 degrees - use cookie sheet with high sides - grease well.

Mix cocoa, flour, sugar, soda, eggs, sour cream in large bowl. Bring to a boil 2 sticks butter and 1 cup water - add to ingredients in bowl - pour onto cookie sheet and bake 17 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa
3 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Start frosting immediately; boil butter, milk - add to powdered sugar, cocoa, vanilla; add nuts, mix well. Spread on cake as soon as you take out of oven - cool thoroughly before cutting. Approximately 4 dozen pieces.
