CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE | |
1/4 lb. butter 4 unbeaten eggs 1 3/4 c. sugar 2 c. flour 8 oz. cream cheese (softened at room temp.) 2 tsp. baking powder Place butter, eggs, sugar and cream cheese in large bowl. Beat about 10 to 15 minutes until light and fluffy. Add flour and baking powder and beat about 3 more minutes. Turn batter into greased tube pan and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 50 minutes or until done. (You can't overbeat this cake batter.) |
